Nature and Scope of Our Financial Advice Service

Marg Mortgages provides advice about mortgages. We only provide financial advice about products from selected providers.

Fees or Expenses

The actual fee charged depends on the nature and scope of the advice or service provided.

For loan products and insurance, commissions may be paid by the product provider:

  • Initial commission: A percentage of the loan amount or insurance premium. Upfront mortgage commission ranges from 0.55% to 0.88%.
  • Ongoing commission: A percentage of the loan balance or insurance premium, typically 0.15%–0.25% p.a.

Other Costs

Additional costs such as travel or photocopying may apply, but these will always be agreed with you beforehand.

Conflicts of Interests

To ensure your interests are prioritised, Marg Mortgages Ltd operates a robust framework of policies and procedures. Advisers undergo annual compliance reviews and training, and registers of conflicts, gifts, and incentives are maintained and monitored.

If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us. We will investigate your concerns promptly and fairly.
